Hey, folks, it's Mr.Wong here. Do you guys know that it's Thanksgiving in the States tomorrow ? Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada, the United States,some of the Caribbean islands, and Liberia. It began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated as a secular holiday as well. 

Some people think Christmas Eve is the most exciting day of the year. Others prefer the Fourth of July, their birthday, or a day with religious significance. But for me, the most exciting day of the year has always been Thanksgiving  -  the one day of the year when everyone in America is pretty much looking forward to the same thing : a day-long feast of food, friends and family. 

Thanksgiving is pretty much like Christmas, Easter and your birthday all rolled into one. Even as a kid I remember getting excited on the day before Thanksgiving. My mom does her motherly duty as a cook every Thanksgiving week without complaint. Aww man ! She always does fine job roasting a big-ass turkey. By the time the turkey exuded a delicious aroma, and is finally taken out of the oven, everyone will be fighting for a piece of crispy skin or the drumstick……… ooooh YEAH !

I consider looking forward to something to be almost as enjoyable as doing it. It's the secret to life, really - always having something to look forward to. It's what gets us out of bed in the morning and what motivates a person's every step. All I'm looking forward to is being with the 6 of us, sitting around the table, thinking nothing more than how good everything tastes. Happy Thanksgiving, mom ..and dad，happy Thanksgiving to my family, and friends !
